Top Issues

1. I forgot my username or password.
2. The Web page cannot be displayed.
3. I can’t view my report.
4. I get a blank screen when trying to view and print my report.
5. I am stuck at the “Processing...Please Wait” screen after submitting my answers.
6. What does “Narrow Range Issue” mean?

 

DISC Assessment1. I forgot my username or password.

Issue Detail:
You created a login with a unique username and password, but cannot remember it.

Solution:
Go to https://blanchard-disc.com/assessmentlogin.asp?bhcp=1

i. Click on "Forgot Username or Password" and input the requested information in the pop-up window that appears and then hit “Submit.”

ii. Your username or password will be automatically sent by the system to your email address.


If you do not remember both your username and password:

i. You will need to contact the Technical Services Help desk directly.

 

2. The Web page cannot be displayed.

Issue Detail:
This will happen when the assessment link within the email invitation is incomplete or shortened.

Solution:
Copy the entire assessment link within the email invitation.

i. Paste it directly into your Internet browser address bar.

ii. Hit “Enter” or “Go.”

 

3. I can’t view my report.

Issue Detail:
You completed the assessment and now you want to log in and view your report results; however, the report is not available.

Solution:
If you get a message that you cannot view your report yet, then your training administrator has disabled the viewing feature. Generally, this is done as part of a training design where reports will be reviewed in class.

i. Please contact your training administrator to confirm your report status. (The training administrator is the person at your company responsible for managing your learning program.)

 

4. I get a blank screen when trying to view and print my report.

Issue Detail:
When you try to view and print your report, as instructed in your email invitation, you only see a blank screen.

Solution:
You must check to make sure that your pop-up blocker is disabled or turned off on your Internet browser before accessing the assessment Web site. (Please note: Secondary Internet toolbars, such as Yahoo and Google, also have pop-up blocker settings that will need to be disabled too.)

i. Open Internet Explorer.

ii. Click on “Tools.”

iii. Pop-up Blocker will be listed in the drop down list.

iv. Click on “Turn off Pop-up Blocker” to disable the setting.


To disable the Yahoo toolbar.

i. Click on the pop-up icon (to the right of highlighter pen).

ii. Click on “Disable Pop-Up Blocker.”


To disable the Google toolbar.

i. Click on “Options.”

ii. The toolbar options window will appear.

iii. Uncheck box to the left of the pop-up blocker.

 

5. I am stuck at the “Processing ... Please Wait” screen after submitting my answers.

Issue Detail:
There is an Internet setting on your computer that is interfering with your report generation within the Web site.

Solution:
First, you must disable your Internet browser’s pop-up blocker.

i. Open Internet Explorer.

ii. Click on “Tools.”

iii. Pop-up blocker will be listed in the drop-down list.

iv. Click on “Turn off Pop-up Blocker” to disable the setting.


To disable the Yahoo toolbar.

i. Click on the pop-up icon (to the right of highlighter pen).

ii. Click on “Disable Pop-Up Blocker.”


To disable the Google toolbar.

i. Click on “Options.”

ii. The toolbar options window will appear.

iii. Uncheck box to the left of the pop-up blocker.


Then, go to https://blanchard-disc.com/assessmentlogin.asp?bhcp=1 and enter the username and password you created.

i. If you can log in, then your results were recorded and you will need to regenerate your report.

ii. To regenerate: under the second bullet, click on the link to the right of “To generate your report.”


If you cannot log in or you don’t have the option to regenerate, then please contact your training administrator to confirm your report status. (The training administrator is the person at your company responsible for managing your learning program.)

 

6. What does “Narrow Range Issue” mean?

Issue Detail:
After submitting your answers, you receive a message that states “Narrow Range Issue.” This means that no distinct pattern is evident based on your responses.

Solution:
You will need to retake the assessment.

i. Try to keep a specific role or environment in mind (i.e., work, home, school, etc.).


Remember that your answers should relate specifically to the role or environment you are referencing.
