Assessments
POST ASSESSMENTS
The post assessment provides data on changes that have occurred since the previous assessment. In order to complete a post assessment, an initial pre assessment must have been submitted and scored and a profile received by the respondent.
- It is recommend that a post assessment be administered approximately 3 months after the initial assessment.
- If you did not preorder post assessments, you can place your order at that time.
- If you preordered post assessments, your materials or your list of post ePID numbers were included with your initial assessment order. Post assessment materials have a shelf life of 1 year from purchase.
- Consult with the class facilitator or person responsible to plan next steps.
- Determine your "needs" date based on your planned follow-up, which could be additional training, a special session to review the new profiles, returning the profiles directly to the participants, etc. Review the Assessment Process Schedule to help you develop your timelines.
- Create a new class roster. You may want to eliminate participants who have moved to other assignments or who are no longer with the organization. You may want to add a participant who missed taking the post assessment at an earlier date. Do not include participants who are taking the assessment for the first time.
- Refer to Assign Assessment Packages and follow the standard directions. Make sure you are using "post" assessment materials or post ePID numbers.
- Refer to Complete Activation Form. Enter the names and PID numbers that you have assigned to each participant. There is no limit to the number of names per class roster.
- Distribute Participant Packages. Monitor Response Rate, and Review Final Status Report for distributing the materials and monitoring the post assessment process.
TYNTK
Do not include "first-time" participants in a post assessment class since the feedback for each group will have a different focus.
Respondents that did not meet minimum requirements or did not receive a final profile will not be able to take a post assessment. There must be previous data scored in order to take a post assessment.
PID Numbers Link Previous and Post Data
Previous and post data are linked through PID numbers. The accuracy of this link is verified by matching the participant's name and birth date from both the previous and post assessments.
