ASSIGN ASSESSMENT PACKAGES
ONLINE
Assign PID Numbers
Within 48 hours after your assessment order is placed, you will receive an email with a list of PID numbers. Using the class roster template, assign a PID number to each participant who will be taking the online assessment.
PID Number
A PID number is an 11-digit participant identification number assigned to an electronic assessment package that is sent directly to the participant via the Web.
TYNTK
Online assessments can accommodate one self and up to 21 respondents, except for the EDGE, which is designed for one self and one manager.
PAPER
Assign PID Numbers
Do not open shrink-wrapped assessment packages. Every assessment package contains materials that are imprinted with a PID (participant identification) number. Once an assessment package with its unique PID number is assigned to a participant, its contents are permanently linked to that participant. Do not mix the answer sheets of one assessment package with another.
Step 1
Obtain the class roster.
Step 2
Assign one assessment package to each participant by writing the participant's name on the label of the assessment package. Make sure the package is the appropriate size (7-pack for LBAII®; 7-pack, 14-pack, or 21-pack for LAP) and is marked "Post" if appropriate. The EDGE comes in one size only (1 self/1 manager).
Step 3
Write the "return by" date on the label of the assessment package.
Step 4
You will be asked to match the PID (11-digit personal identification number) preprinted on the package cover to the participant's name during the online roster entry process.
TYNTK
Special preparation of the assessment packages is needed for orders outside the U.S.A. or for expedited processing. See Batching for details.
