Putting Fear and Apathy on the Back Burner
It seems as if managers and employees these days are just treading water in their jobs and waiting for the economy to turn so that they have more choices and options.
"People are stuck in place, not particularly happy with the way things are, but staying put because they don't have any better options. For the most part, people are keeping their heads down and keeping their mouths shut, and doing what they need to do to get by," says Bob Glaser, a senior consulting partner with The Ken Blanchard Companies.
